Our Vision
It’s been said that the local church is the hope of the world. That’s not because of the songs we sing, the ministries we launch, or even the programs we offer. It is quite simply because we are stewards of the “faith once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). It’s because we have and are called to proclaim the glorious truths and hope of the gospel: Jesus came to save sinners! It is our conviction that the entire Bible, cover to cover, declares that message: the Law, the Prophets, the Psalms; the easy to see portions and the difficult passages, too.
Since that’s true, we must accurately and faithfully know the gospel when compared to other world religions and cults found throughout the world.
We want to equip, develop, and train disciples to understand, evaluate, and engage world religions in light of the gospel, so they can think clearly, respond graciously, and proclaim Christ faithfully in everyday life and ministry.
Who Should Attend?
In a word, everyone! From Middle and High School students to college graduates; Elders, Deacons, church leaders; Bible study participants, small group leaders, and volunteers; stay at home moms and business executives; Everyone! The aim is for you, as a disciple, to grow in your understanding, study, and application of God’s Word with the result that you see and love Jesus more!
Paul’s words to Timothy are the basis of what we’re doing: “Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress” (1 Timothy 4:15). Progress! That’s our hope!
