Small Groups

Realizing that most lasting spiritual growth occurs in the context of community with other believers, we strongly encourage you to connect with a small group in your neighborhood.  A small group consist of other believers who can teach, encourage and challenge us toward growth in Jesus Christ, it’s all about doing life together in Christ.

We are so certain of the benefits of the small group ministry that we have included it in our long term vision statement:

Life Change Evangelistic Small Groups: trusting God for 80% Church participation; impacting neighborhoods and communities for    Christ.

We have designed our small groups to be a safe place of fellowship, prayer,  discipleship and active outreach to neighbors and friends.  This Fall we will be trying something new as many of our small groups will be studying alongside our weekend worship service study in Acts.

What: Pastor Ray is offering a Small Group Curriculum to go along with the Acts Sermon Series.  New study guides will be available on a bi-monthly basis.  Pick up as many as you need for your group.  Available at the church.

When: Most of these groups meet on the second and forth Sunday of each month.  Time and place can be adjusted based on your groups needs.

Where: We have organized our groups geographically, so that if you live in Cottonwood you could attend a small group in Cottonwood,  etc.

Child Care: Most of our groups have proven themselves very creative in the area of childcare.  If you are struggling here, let us know, perhaps we can help.

How Do I Get Involved:  Call or email the church office and we will get you plugged into a group!  507-423-6697 or secretary@swanlakechurch.org.  You can also contact Pastor Ray @ 507-531-6038 or rayglenn@swanlakechurch.org
