Baptism is a public declaration of a believer’s commitment to Jesus Christ.

Jesus states;

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Through baptism, a believer is identifying himself with Christ’s death and resurrection Romans 6:1-4.  The baptism experience itself is symbolic of a person dying to self and being raised to new life in Christ.

* Anyone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and desires to live for Him, should be baptized as a public declaration of their faith.

* Baptism is not a means of salvation.  Salvation is a work of God through Christ death on the cross, to be received as a free gift.  Ephesians 2:8-9

* Baptism may be done at any age once a person understands God’s work in their life.

* Rebaptism is a viable option if you were baptized as an infant or before your faith had become your own.
