May Praise and Prayer

  • Thank God for the men and women who serve our country protecting it and its citizens. Remember with gratitude those who have given their lives, and honor those among us who have served in the military. Praise God for their courage, obedience, and faithfulness. Pray that each of us, through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, may win the ultimate battle against sin and attain the crown of glory through Your Son’s atonement for our sins.
  • Thank God for the Trimester Meeting last Sunday. Praise God for the exciting ministries that are happening through the different small group church teams.
  • Pray the Lord of the Harvest would raise up the needed volunteers for Vacation Bible School June 10-14. Praise God for this opportunity to present the Gospel in this creative way to the young children in our church and community.  Pray for receptive hearts as they learn about being shipwrecked and the wonderful rescue offered by Jesus Christ.
  • Pray for wisdom and discernment for the members of the Pastor Search Team: Rick Myhre, Judy Boerboom, Lucas Voorhees, Christina Wendt, Dominic Smith, Mike Heuberger, and Sheri Erickson. Thank God for their willingness to serve the church in this matter.
  • Pray that we may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual understanding so that we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10)
