March Praise and Prayer

  • Pray we individually prepare our hearts for worship and for those who lead us corporately in worship.
  • Pray for the Transition Team as they finalize the Swan Lake Assessment Report and share it with the church leaders, the congregation, and district leaders. Pray that God will use this report to help discern the Lord’s vision and direction for the church. Pray for the church to act decisively and wisely upon the recommendations of the Assessment Report as the Lord leads and directs as we move into Stage 3: Action.
  • Praise and prayer for volunteers already serving in many ministry areas and for additional volunteers and individual commitment and faithfulness to church attendance and ministry involvement.
  • Pray for Mike and Joy as they train and disciple their own family and the youth who come to our church. Praise for the Worship and Prayer service with youth from Swan Lake and area churches. Pray for continued discipleship with the youth and individual spiritual growth.
  • A Prayer for the Church Family (from Chapel of the Air): “Father, I know that no church is perfect, so help me not to be surprised when problems arise. Keep me from pointing a finger of blame at others; guard my tongue from shameful remarks. Grant me the courage to do my part to make our church a better place. And thank you for graciously allowing me to be a member of your wonderful family. Amen.”
