Relate Women’s Event
We have planned another Women’s Event for Friday July 17th. Re-vamped Art Studio from Pipestone will be coming to Swan Lake to teach us how to PAINT a 16×20 canvas. We have narrowed it down to a couple of pictures (shown below). Both are beginner paintings. Re-vamped comes and teaches us step by step how to paint the selected painting. They make this so easy! We will start at approximately 6pm and it takes 2-3 hours. The cost is $25 per person and we need a minimum of 10 people committed to hold the event. Any Questions or to sign up, contact Kristin Smith @ 605-929-4278.
What do we often do with our raw emotions? We stuff, we explode, or react somewhere in between. Is it really possible to make emotions work for us instead of against us? Beginning Tuesday, June 30th from 7 – 8:30 we will begin the six-week Bible study Unglued where Lysa Terkeurst will give us tools on how to process emotions and resolve conflicts in ways that lead to a peaceful life. Please sign up on the sheet in the back and let us know if you want the participants guide for $10. If you have any questions please contact Mendy Lange 507 829 5021 or Sherry Smith 320 841 7020. We understand that summer months may prohibit being able to attend every session, so sign up even if your attendance will be sporadic.
We have good news regarding our building remodel! The remaining funds needed to continue on with the project have been pledged, as well as funds to cover the monthly payment on the borrowed amount. Remodel is scheduled for this winter. Feel free to continue to contribute to the building fund as this will help reduce the overall borrowed amount.
