For by works of the law no human being will be justified in His sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20
We are collecting paper items for Hope Harbor through October. These items will help the ministry with daily needs and reduce pressure on the monthly budget. Would you consider picking up a pack of paper towels, toilet paper, dinner napkins, or facial tissues and place on the table in back of the worship center. Very easy opportunity to do as a family with kids and teach the gift of giving.
Are you having trouble holding on to and living out of your new identity in Christ? This six-week study will explore Scripture and the riches of God’s grace; helping you to be mindful and aware of these vital spiritual realities at work in your life. The study will be lead by Pastor Ray and will meet at the church at 5:30 on Sunday evening, October 30th. We will couple our study time with a time of prayer.
Each fall Western Community Action runs a coat drive for area children in need. Coats, gloves, scarves, even boots (new or slightly used) are accepted. A barrel has been placed in the south foyer of the church for items.
Pick up your shoebox today! Start praying for and planning on how you can participate in Operation Christmas Child. Swan Lake filled 189 boxes last year…maybe we could surpass that number this year?! Note: any toothpaste and/or food item (no chocolate) must have an expiration date LATER than June 2017.
